Welcome to the digital hub of an entrepreneur, consultant, creative...Ah, I'm running out of space.

Some passions.

Entrepreneurship.

I believe that business is an incredibly useful tool to solve serious problems in society. By creating and building businesses focused on solving some of the large problems I want to help chip away at in the world, my hope is that I’m truly helping society become ever-so-slightly more positive. My current passion business is called Service Pickleball – read more about that below.

IT consulting.

While trying to solve problems, organizations of all shapes and sizes tend to get tunnel vision over time. It’s just a simple reality that actually happens more with reduced employee turnover. Organizations lean on consulting firms to provide an outsider’s perspective in solving their problems.

I love solving problems! When I joined Artisan Studios, it felt natural to jump in and solve problems for our clients. I’ve never looked back.

Creative outlets.

There is no such thing as a ‘non-creative person’. The only question is whether a person regularly accesses their creativity. Deep down, we’re all creative. Creativity is a muscle. When worked, it applies to all aspects of life.

One of my favorite hobbies is simply flexing that muscle. Despite not having the best technical skills in some areas, I love the process of drawing, painting, photography, and anything else that involves free thinking.

I enjoy writing.

About me.

I’m simply happy to be alive. While I’m experiencing this gift that is life, my goal is to provide as much value to other people as I can. I hope that you can tell that by any interaction with me.

My wife and I live in Lincoln, Nebraska with our two cats, Dimitri and Dink (“dual income, no kids” 😉). Despite the cold winters and hot, muggy summers, we love this city. In our free time, we are drawn to any sort of physical activity, whether that’s hiking, biking, going to the gym, or anything else.

When I’m not exercising or working, I enjoy flexing my creative muscles. Drawing, painting, coloring, graphic design, photography, making music, writing – you name it, I want to do it. I’m not that good at it. I’m especially awful at drawing. But it’s SO enjoyable. That’s art, baby!

Founder

Service Pickleball

I recently came to the harsh realization that the sport of pickleball, despite how great it is, will send 25 million broken plastic pickleballs to landfills this year alone. That’s a lot of plastic.

I’m on a mission to change that by collecting broken pickleballs and partnering with organizations that will make something productive out of them.

Consulting Director / Program Manager

Artisan Studios

By day, I lead the Project & Program Management team at Artisan Studios. In this role, I’m privileged to work alongside brilliant, world-class people who insist on delivering the highest quality product imaginable to our clients.

Working with people who hold each other to a high standard has proven to be my most rewarding career move to date. We have permission to try hard, to care about the little things, and to take action.
